Hi, I’m Sophie! Thank you for deciding to join me and 'Go Casual for Sick Kids'.

I wanted to create ‘Go Casual For Sick Kids’ to help support sick kids across Queensland, like me.

The event will be held on Friday 19th October 2018, and is all about getting schools across Queensland to work together to raise as much money as we can, by encouraging one another to stand out and do something different.

For a gold coin donation on the day, you and your school friends could wear odd socks, a wig or funky hairstyle, you could 'Go Casual', or even host an event of your choice like a morning tea.

All donations will help the Children's Hospital Foundation fund essential medical equipment, life-saving research and entertainment programs like Juiced TV, which help provides support and care to sick kids in hospital.

We'll be announcing the final fundraising tally at The Channel Nine Telethon on Saturday 17th November 2018.

I am extremely grateful to have the enthusiastic and unanimous endorsement from the Children’s Hospital Foundation  Juiced TV, The Minister for Education, the Hon. Grace Grace MP, and The Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services, the Hon. Steven Miles, MP.

This is a really easy way that we can make a difference - so… let’s get fun-raising!!

Children's Hospital Foundation

You can make a difference by helping the Children's Hospital Foundation to work wonders for sick and injured kids by funding vital research, new equipment, and providing entertainment and support for children and their families in hospital.

Everything we do is made possible by the generosity of our supporters and partners in the community. With your help, we can fund life-saving research to achieve faster diagnoses, better treatments and ultimately cures for some of the most devastating childhood illnesses and injuries.

With your help, we work wonders for sick kids every day. We turn tears into smiles, fears into hope and ideas into life-changing care and treatments that help kids get better and go home sooner. We’re making a difference to children’s health to create a brighter future for all Queensland kids.

The Children’s Hospital Foundation is the official charity of the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, the Centre for Children’s Health Research, and for all sick kids throughout Queensland.

5 heroes fundraising today.
